Claire Hatamiya, Ph.D., M.H.S. has a Ph.D in Educational Theatre from New York University and a master’s degree in Health Education from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
She has over 15 years of experience developing and facilitating social emotional learning programs in nonprofit organizations and public schools in New York City as well as in Baltimore and the Oakland/Bay Area. Dr. Hatamiya was a facilitator for INSIGHTS into Children’s Temperament for several years and conducted her dissertation on assessing the validity of children’s self-reports of their temperament after participating in the INSIGHTS children’s program.
Michelle Palmer, JD, MA
As the executive director of INSIGHTS Intervention, LLC, Ms. Palmer is responsible for the day-to- day operations of the company including overseeing the planning, implementation and evaluation of the company’s programs and services. She also market the program to school districts. Ms. Palmer a trained INSIGHTS facilitator, so she can also conduct the intervention.
Mark Spellman, PhD
Dr. Spellmann is a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of direct clinical practice experience. He received his Ph.D. from Yeshiva University in Clinical Psychology. Dr Spellmann also has extensive experience as a research psychologist in the area of social policy for children. He was the Principal Investigator (PI) on a 10-year federally funded outcome study of Early Head Start.
