Biography

A professional puppeteer for 25 years, Jennifer has been a principal performer on shows like Between the Lions and Lomax: The Hound of Music  (PBS), Bear in the Big Blue House and Johnny and the Sprites (Disney), Julie’s Greenroom (starring Julie Andrews, on Netflix), and Helpsters (Apple+), for which she also served as puppet captain. For Sesame Street, she plays Zoe, Granny Bird, Maggie Cadabby, Mama Bear and Gladys the Cow, among others. Jennifer was also in the original company of the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q and remained with it for its entire six-year run on Broadway. She has served as a puppet coach for numerous productions of the Avenue Q, including regional, academic, and community theater levels.  She has been a lecturer and guest artist at various universities around the country, as well as an adjunct professor of puppet arts at Wagner College. Jennifer holds a BFA in Acting with a Concentration in Puppet Arts from the University of Connecticut.
