Biography

Jordan Morris, Ph.D. has extensive experience working with programs and organizations that enhance access to participatory, interest-driven learning that facilitates educational and civic opportunities for ethnic and racial minority members. Her academic research explores the identity development and literacy of vulnerable groups by analyzing their autobiographical digital stories. Her participants have included adjudicated youth and low-income children.

She received her Ph.D. at UCLA in Human Development and Psychology and her masters from Teachers College, Columbia University in Applied Developmental and Learning Psychology. Prior to receiving her doctorate, Dr. Morris was the project manager for one of the randomized clinical trials that tested the efficacy of INSIGHTS.
