Biography
Christopher Cerf is a writer, composer-lyricist, and producer. He is co-founder and president of the educational media company, Sirius Thinking, Ltd., where he co-created the Emmy award-winning PBS children’s literacy education series Between the Lions.
Cerf has won three Emmys and two Grammys for his musical contributions to Sesame Street. He was a senior editor at Random House and a founding contributing editor of National Lampoon, and has written several best-selling humor books. He has collaborated with the Jim Henson Company, the Success for All Foundation, and Teachley on a series of award-winning education technology projects.
In 2010, Cerf was awarded the Harold W. McGraw Prize for his contributions to American education.
